Lumière Festival Lights Up Vancouver Tomorrow, November 13–16, with More Than 25 Artworks Celebrating “Unity”

Vancouver, B.C., November 12, 2025 — Lumière Festival officially kicks-off a four-day celebration of light, art, and community on November 13, 2025 at 5 p.m.

WHAT: Lumière Festival 2025 – Vancouver’s annual free, family-friendly celebration of light, art, and community.

WHEN: Thursday to Sunday, November 13 – 16, 2025 (5:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.)

WHERE: Downtown Vancouver, Gastown (Blood Alley Square), and the West End

WHO: Presented by Lumière Festival Vancouver Society in partnership with Destination Vancouver, Vancouver Hotel Destination Association, the West End BIA, Downtown Van, and Gastown Business Improvement Society

WHY: Guided by this year’s theme Unity, Lumière connects communities through light-based art that inspires reflection, participation, and wonder.

FESTIVAL HIGHLIGHTS

More than 25 light-based installations and projections will transform streets and plazas across three downtown BIA districts, showcasing local and international artists exploring light, connection, and creativity.
